Learn how to make pom pom fairy pegs!

You will need:
- You will need:
- Scissors
- Wool (yarn)
- Card
- Felt pens
- Glue
- Wooden ‘dolly’ pegs
- Help from a grown up

To make:
- Paint (or colour in) the wooden pegs and leave to dry standing up
- When dry, decorate the face and body – you can use a tiny bit of glitter and glue if you have some!

- Draw two circles on the card- draw around something if it helps!
- Cut out the circles, then draw and cut out a smaller circle in the middle of each
- Place the circles together (if you hold them against the upright peg, they should be about half the size)

- Tie the yarn around the card, from inside to the outside
- Keep winding the yarn around the card, from the middle to the outside until it looks like a yarn doughnut!

- This is a tricky cutting bit! You need to put the tip of your scissors between the two pieces of card and snip around the edge
- Then, tie a piece of yarn around the middle of the pom pom – where it goes through the doughnut hole!
- Cut the card off the yarn and fluff up your pom pom!

- Trim and tidy up the pom pom
- Push the peg through the middle of the pom pom, so the head and feet stick out!
- Decorate some more; you can add glitter or wings!
Have fun!
