What can I donate?
- Books can be new or as new. Your book will be opened by someone on Christmas day as a present. A good rule of thumb is ‘Would I like to receive this as a gift?’
- Books for all ages and genres.
- Not sure? Follow our guidance:
Yes, please!
- books with crisp, clean white pages
- no creases in the spine e.g. looks unread
- books for adults, young adults and children
No, thank you!
- spine – if broken, creased or pages coming away, splits or gaps when book is opened
- book covers that are stained, faded, or ripped or have dirty edges or smell damp/musty
- yellowing, stained, torn, scribbled on, loose, ripped, cockled (ie looks wavy as a result of damp) pages
- any non-fiction published before 2023
- anything offensive that may cause upset
