B&NES Libraries’ completely free, online only, crime reading, monthly book group!
From old-fashioned detectives to modern-day mysteries, Bath Bloodhounds Book Group reads a wide variety of crime!
Join us on the last Thursday of every month at 6pm to discuss our chosen crime book. We’ll send out the link to the secure Teams room a few hours before each meet-up, so you have plenty of time to make a cuppa and get comfy.
We have two wonderful volunteers, but encourage all members of the group to suggest books and share opinions.
Volunteer Rachel Ward is the author of the popular Ant and Bea Mysteries set in Kingsleigh, a town which bears a remarkable resemblance to Keynsham. Rachel also wrote the YA series Numbers and hosts a fortnightly book group on twitter using the hashtag #CosyCrimeClub.
Our group is open to all LibrariesWest members. If you don’t yet have a library card, you can register here.
The group is aimed at adults, but under 18s can join us if they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Previous Reads
You can read short reviews of the books we’ve previously read. The reviews share the thoughts of the whole group, and a few have been good enough to be awarded the coveted 5 stars!
Upcoming Sessions
We decide on books to read 2-3 months in advance, so you have plenty of time to get reading! Upcoming books are listed in the events below. We suggest you check if the books are in stock in your local Library in plenty of time, so you can place a reservation if they’re on loan.
