Second volume of this ambitious project: to give to children stories about women who are heroes on their own. Beautifully illustrated, each page is the story of a different woman often from a different country.
They can be spies, scientist, doctors, singers, aviators, … they all show courage, and ambition when and where the odds were against them. You can read one page at a time, I am sure you will come across some of those ladies that will become your role models easily. I have a particular soft spot for Katia Krafft, but she was already my childhood hero.
I am expecting this volume to lead to many other ones!
