As the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, BookTrust works with every local authority across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, reaching millions of families with books, resources and support to help make reading part of everyday family life.
We’re proud of our partnership with BookTrust, which enables us to work with colleagues and partners across the authority to expand access to their fantastic resources. As a BookTrust Learning Zone partner, we’ve benefited from a focus on deeper, community-led engagement and pilot activity, including our Relaxed Storytime work.
From every newborn receiving a book pack via their Health Visitor, to targeted offers such as dual-language books and additional needs packs distributed through libraries, Children’s Centres and specialist partners, BookTrust resources help us build both new and lasting relationships that support children to develop a love of reading.
