Correct!

The Guildhall is an 18th Century Grade I listed building which houses the Council Chamber, Council services and is a wedding venue!

In 1893 a significant number of donated books were brought together in a dome room here and the non-lending Reference Library was born. It was a quiet beginning with no advertising and most people didn’t even know it was there!
