Silly Animal Consequences

Silly animal consequences is both a craft and a game!

You will need:

– A4 paper
– Pencils
– Felt tips
– Animal cards (small pieces of paper with different animals written on them, folded up)
– You might like to look at your favourite story books with animals, or a non-fiction animal book for inspiration!

Rules of the game:

  1. Fold the A4 paper into 4 equal parts – you will need one sheet for each player!
  2. Each choose an animal card and keep it hidden!
  3. Draw the head of your animal on the top part of the piece of paper, with the neck lines reaching down over the fold.
  4. Fold the part you’ve drawn on so it’s hidden, and then swap sheets with another player.
  5. On the sheet you now have, draw the neck and body of your animal – like before, draw lines over the fold so the next person can see where the body ends!
  1. Fold the body section over so it’s hidden and swap sheets again
  2. The next section is the legs – draw your animal, fold and swap!
  3. The last section is the feet.
  4. Once all the drawing is finished, open the sheets up and look at the crazy animal creatures you’ve made!

For added silliness:

Colour in and decorate your crazy creatures!

You can even make some ‘object cards’, by writing things like ‘sunglasses’ and ‘bow tie’ on pieces of paper, and then whichever ones you choose you have to add to your drawing!
