Marvellous Mobiles

sticks and other craft materials

You will need:

  • Sticks, leaves, pinecones
  • Yarn in assorted colours
  • Paper
  • Scissors
  • Twine
  • Crayons

To make:

Step 1: Choose the size stick that you’d like for your mobile. Choose some coloured yarn and wrap your stick to decorate. If you’d like to be more adventurous choose a few sticks and use the twine to tie them into a shape, such as a triangle, a square or a star.

Step 2: Choose some leaves and using paper and crayons make some leaf rubbings to hang from your mobile. Cut out a selection of your leaves.

Step 3: Choose some of the natural materials to hang from your mobile. With the help of a grown-up punch holes into all of the leaf rubbings to hang from the mobile.

Step 4: Use the twine to hang your chosen items from your mobile.
