To celebrate Chinese New Year, we have 3 crafts for you to make. Today we’re making a Chinese Dragon Puppet.
You will need:
- Card or a cereal box
- A mixture of coloured paper, sweet paper, wrapping paper, kitchen foil or similar
- One long piece of paper for the body
- Two lolly sticks
- Pens
- Scissors
- Sticky tape
- Glue
- Help from a grown-up!
To make:
- Draw a dragon’s head a tail on the card and cut them out.
- Cut or tear up a variety of the coloured papers, sweet wrappers, etc. Glue all over the head and tail.
- To make the body, take a long piece of paper or card and fold into a zig zag!
- Using sticky tape, secure the lolly sticks to the back of the head and tail
- Stick the zig zag body to the head and tail
- For the flames, use some yellow tissue or paper!
