Have you ever wondered why Mars looks red, or how Saturn got its rings?

Join us for a trip around our Solar System this half term, in a family planetarium show at Bath Central Library. We’ll explore our nearest planets and stars, and find out all about some amazing space discoveries that happened right here in Bath.

Suitable for age 5+

Show duration approx. 40 minutes

£5 per person

To book visit: herschelmuseum.org.uk/whats-on

PLEASE NOTE: A photographer will be present for the 2:30pm show. Please let us know on the day if you would rather not be photographed face on. Due to limited space in the dome, you may still feature in back of head style shots.

Important booking information

Pre-booking for ALL members of your group, both adults and children, is essential, there is limited space inside the planetarium, so please include all adults and children that will be attending when you book.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all time.

Regretfully, the planetarium is not wheelchair accessible.

As this show takes place in our inflatable planetarium, visitors will be required to sit on the floor (cushions provided). Please let us know in advance if this will be a problem and we may be able to make accommodations.

We may ask you to remove your shoes prior to entering the planetarium if weather conditions warrant it.
