14 February , 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Join us at Bath Central Library for an enlightening talk with James Hawes, celebrated novelist and historian.
Philip Pullman says: “James Hawes’s view of English history is sharp and vivid and extremely persuasive. It’s sobering to see how our current devises have such an ancient origins and parallels.”
This is English history as you’ve probably never heard it before – or rather, seen it before, because James’s talk is illustrated and entirely based around projected maps and images – with Bath playing a central role!
The session will conclude with a Q&A, so bring your questions!
Free tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided. Speak to a member of the Bath Central Library team for more information.
