Join the Bath Patchwork Project ’26 Every Friday at Bath Central Library

The Bath Patchwork Project ’26, curated by Bath Artists’ Studios in partnership with the American Museum & Gardens, invites you to help create a unique community artwork that will become a textile time capsule, capturing the stories, identities and connections of Bath at this moment in time.

Join us every Friday at Bath Central Library for FREE artist-led stitching workshops. No sewing experience is necessary, everyone is welcome. Come along to learn a new skill, meet new people, and enjoy a relaxed, creative space.

You’ll design your own fabric patch, adding words, drawings or reflections that are meaningful to you before it is stitched into the growing community patchwork. All materials and guidance are provided, so you can simply turn up and get involved.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced stitcher, we’d love you to be part of this collaborative project.

THIS IS A DROP-IN SOCIAL GROUP, no tickets required.

Drop-in to our relaxed social group for adults. Have a go at a wordsearch, crossword or a board game over a cuppa and a chat.

Summer Reading Challenge Craft Activity: Make Your Own Paper Microphone

Join us for a fun, creative session as part of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge! Children will get the chance to design and make their very own paper microphone to take home.

• All materials are provided free of charge
• Spaces are limited — booking is required
• Suitable for children aged 4 – 11 years
• Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times
